Groups are used to distribute emails and mobile phone messages. Some special groups like <b>admin</b> also give additional privledges to the user who is a member.<br><br>
<h2>Members</h2>
Every member of voyagers is a member of this group. Emails to <a href="mailto:members@voyagers.ie">members@voyagers.ie</a> will reach everybody and so should be used sparingly. Consider posting content to the site instead or using one of the specialized groups below.<br><br>
<h2>WantRiverInvites</h2>
Make yourself a member of this group if you are currently available to paddle rivers in the dublin/wicklow area. If you are abroad, injured or heavily pregnant, remove yourself temporarily from the group to avoid being annoyed by invitations that you can't take up at the moment.<br>
Emails to <a href="mailto:WantRiverInvites@voyagers.ie">WantRiverInvites@voyagers.ie</a> will be disributed to everbody in this group. This is the only group that receives <a href="sms.aspx">Group mobile phone messages</a>.<br><br>
<h2>Social</h2>
Make yourself a member of this group if you want to receive party invites, gossip, jokes and the like. Emails to <a href="mailto:social@voyagers.ie">social@voyagers.ie</a> will reach everybody in this group. If you have a social event that you want to invite people to, consider creating an event on the site.<br><br>
<h2>Info</h2>
This is the group that receives enquires email to <a href="mailto:info@voyagers.ie">info@voyagers.ie</a>. You can't make yourself a member of this group. Only somebody in the <b>Admin</b> group can do that. Normally only one designate on the Voyagers committe is a member of this group.<br><br>
<h2>Admin</h2>
Normally you are only able to edit and delete content that you have posted to the site. However members of <b>Admin</b> are able to modify other people's postings in order to make corrections or remove inappropriate material. They can also access private membership details for club adminstration purposes.<br>
